From that point forth, I have gone on to undertake valuations ranging from elderly care homes in Cornwall, portfolios of learning disability homes in Wales to retirement villages in the West Midlands. In many ways this summarises the work we do at C&W Healthcare, both advising and supporting local smaller operators across the region to ensuring that large, national portfolios are treated with the same level of expertise, not matter where their composite assets are located. It’s not all about valuations however, we spend our time providing options appraisals for land owners looking to extract maximum value, financial viability assessments and market-led feasibility studies for a wide range of developments and asset management projects. We work closely with our commercial colleagues on mixed- used developments, ensuring that C&W’s depth of regional knowledge is fully applied and our recent involvement on sites in Bristol, Taunton and Frome have really highlighted the benefits of being part of a multi-disciplinary organisation. ABOUT THE SOUTH WEST TEAM I joined the CWHealthcare team in January 2017 having previously spent my career at Edward Symmons and Savills. The majority of my time has been in the healthcare sector, having covered the South-West, Wales and beyond, the opportunity to lead healthcare valuations in this region was simply too good an opportunity to pass up!
