Healthcare Vital Signs

SOPHIA SHAM Associate Healthcare South-West Lead We work closely with our commercial colleagues on mixed-used developments, ensuring that C&W’s depth of regional knowledge is fully applied. We are fully aware that clients are often looking at healthcare options not through some philanthropic drive, but rather they are looking to extract the most from a development or asset, so we cannot remain blinkered by all thing’s healthcare all of the time. Kasia Glaz joined us in Bristol in June and has been a great addition to the team with expertise spanning GP surgeries, dental practices and pharmacies. It is key to our continued growth to broaden our geographical capability in these sectors and her contribution is an exciting next stage for C&W Healthcare. As we approach the third anniversary of our national team being formed by Martin Robb, the importance of depth to our regional network remains immense and we are proud to be part of the wider healthcare community. For example, we jointly host the bi-annual healthcare seminar with market leading law firm VWV. Aimed at investors, operators and professionals in the south-west area, the seminar has covered a range of topics including robotics in social care and intergenerational care. Such events are always a broad church and a great opportunity for the market to exchange ideas for the benefit of all so please contact me for more information if you would like to join us. A few thoughts on our South- West area of expertise are set out below, but clearly every situation is different so if you would like to discuss anything healthcare property related then do get in touch. 31 | CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD
