Bristol has been named as the UK’s European city of Sport for 2017 and
Gloucester County Cricket Club will be one of the five venues hosting the ICC
Women’s Cricket World Cup this summer, held for the first time in England since
1993. Bristol will take on a theme of encouraging a surge in women and girls’
sport in the city. A great way to celebrate the part sport plays in every aspect
of life across the city.
